Outlook Web Access: "440 Login Timeout"
Hi,I was following the KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941201to troubleshoot Outlook Web Access: "440 Login Timeout", but got stuck after seeing the output of the following command cscript adsutil.vbs get w3svc\anonymoususerpass Results that resemble the following are returned: Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.6 Copyright (C) Microsoft corporation 1996-2001. All rights reserved. anonymoususerpass : (STRING) "HtV9o2w.18)@SY" The string output returned"**********" instead of showing the password. I am sure there should be a way to show the actual password characters instead of hiding it, which I dont know how to. So please help me.Anyhow I have managed to solve the actual issue Outlook Web Access: "440 Login Timeout" by changing the password in AD and changing it in IIS, but curious to know how to show the password by typing the command cscript adsutil.vbs get w3svc\anonymoususerpass

Hi Tariq, I would like to know whether you have configured the IsSecureProperty value to False. Based on my local test, the password will show "*******"if the IsSecurePropertyvalue is set to True.Mike
